Start Dates
Interns will start on Monday, June 6th and Full Time hires will start on Monday, August 1st.

Interns will have a full day of orientation and will also be given a calendar with information on upcoming events throughout their summer at WMP.  Our Full Time hires will start with a full day of orientation and then enter a training class the following day called Consulting 101.  Please read below to learn more about our Consulting 101 training and Intern Onboarding and how they can enhance your success here at West Monroe!

Consulting 101 – Full Time Hires
Shortly after your start date, you will be attending Consulting 101 which is a training session we use to introduce you to the consulting profession and lifestyle.  Consulting 101 has received rave reviews from past new hires and we’re confident you will also benefit from the training which consists of interactive presentations with various consultants at WMP, break-out working sessions, and collaborative, team-building activities.

Onboarding – Interns
Throughout your first two weeks with WMP you will be invited to attend information sessions that focus on the main function of each of the solution lines.  Also, throughout the summer you will be invited to several “Lunch & Learns” which will give you the opportunity to learn more about West Monroe.  Typical “Lunch & Learns” in the past have focused on the Marketing and the Business Development team (BD is our Sales team), concepts around “Tip of the Spear” and “xTransformation”, Consulting 101 for Interns, and a sit down lunch with Dean Fischer, our CEO. 

Coaching Assignments
Each of you has been assigned a new hire coach.  Ok, so what is a new hire coach?  Good question!  A new hire coach is someone who is there to help you make the transition from the world of books and studying to the "working world" of West Monroe.  Your coach is typically from your solution line and has a background similar to yours.  They are here to answer your questions and help you to become successful at West Monroe Partners.
